Toni Lopopolo Literary Management provides a high level of service by limiting the number of clients represented but is always searching for select new talent and established authors who seek a more personalized relationship with an agent.  Thank you for your interest in submitting your novel or nonfiction book proposal. (Please note: Toni Lopopolo Literary Management does not represent poetry, stage plays, or screenplays.)

Before You Submit:
You must own and read these two books.
 Self-Editing for Fiction Writers, Second Edition: How to Edit Yourself Into Renni Browne and Dave King Stein On Writing: A Master Editor of Some of the Most Successful Writers of Our Century Shares His Craft Techniques and Strategies

What to Submit:
Fiction:  Query lett
er, synopsis, first five pages of first chapter, and description of fiction writing studies.  No attachments, please. Just the email.
Nonfiction:  Query describing project and writer’s credentials.  Please let us know if you have a formal book proposal and sample chapters.

How to Submit:
Please send queries via email. Please include the word “Query” in the subject line. Please insert all text in the body of the email. We do our best to respond to all submissions in a timely manner. If you haven’t heard back from us within 6 weeks, please assume that your email has not been received and send a follow-up submission.

If your query reflects what we look for from authors, we’ll ask you to send your manuscript as an attachment.

We take time to read all of the queries submitted and are always excited to find new literary talent.
